Obtaining Payday Loans

Technology has gone a long way.  We can do more than ever with technology.  Payday lenders have taken notice of this and have made payday loans available online.  Even though the consumer can get their loan online, it seems as though the consumer still prefers to get their payday loan in the traditional storefront location.
There have been many studies done since payday loans have moved online.  The studies focus on many different things such as who prefers what type of loan, who get their loan where and so on.  It seems as though most still prefer to get their small short term loans from the traditional storefront locations.
One study showed that almost three quarters of people who get payday loans get them exclusively from the storefront locations.  Many people wonder why they would prefer to go to the storefront than get their loan online. There are many different reasons for this.
Some people do not feel comfortable leaving their information online.  With the technology that brings us the ability to get payday loans online also brings the ability for identity thieves to try to steal their information.  Keeping this in mind there are plenty of people who just do not want to risk it.  Others prefer the storefront location simply because they like the face to face interaction that comes with the storefront location.  They feel that they get more personal service when they go to the storefront location and work with someone that they can see.  Many people also like the storefront because they can ask question if there is something they do not understand, and they can make sure everything is explained.
In the same survey the next largest group is the group of people who get their payday loans exclusively online.  They seem to prefer this way of getting a payday loan because it is convenient.  Everyone is so busy these days that they do not always have time to stop at a storefront location to get their loan.  Often time they do not get time to try to get their payday loans until after the storefront locations are already closed.  Getting the loan online means they can apply for the loan whenever you have time.
The next largest group is the group of people who get their payday loans in other places.  These other places are most likely banks and credit unions.  They do not advertise that they do payday loans so not many people get their loans from there.
The last group of people is the group who gets their payday loans from both storefront locations and online.  A lot of these people do not really mind where they get their loan from.  If they have time to go to a storefront location to get their payday loan, then they will, if not they will apply for one online.  They do not care so much about where they get their loan as much as that they get one when they need it.
There are many different ways in which one can get a payday loan.  There are many people who prefer one way over another, but there are still some people who do not mind where they get the loan as long as they get the help that they need.
